Light Pixel Interaction

About The Artwork

Get ready to dive into the fascinating world of light like never before – through a pixel tube! Step right up to create your very own tube and see how light plays with color and reflections in magical ways. Whether you choose to use it to explore other exhibits or stay and marvel at the mesmerizing patterns, you’ll be captivated by the shifting shapes and vibrant colors that dance on the screen. As light passes through the Mylar tubes, it reflects off the mirror-like surfaces, creating a stunning effect that makes it seem like the tube is glowing from within! The result? A dazzling array of shapes, swirls, heart-like patterns, and colors that seem to emerge from nowhere. These mesmerizing designs are the result of caustics, where light rays converge and diverge, just like a lens, creating an unpredictable play of light and dark.
