Experience
A highlight of Te Ramaroa 2023 and back again by popular demand! Nelson Intermediate are exploring themes of shadow and light, creating whimsical scenes out of cardboard cutouts that reflect the learning the ākonga have embarked on this year around the flora and fauna of Aotearoa. Inspired by visits to Whakatū Nelson’s Brook Waimarama Sanctuary the students have created new scenes within the tents to awe and inspire kids and adults alike.

Nelson Intermdiate has been regular contributor to Te Ramaroa Light Festival, the students have been activiely involved during the second to term to create this work. Inspired by the natural evironment of Aotearoa they have created something truly special.
