
The focus of this installation is inspired by New Zealand glowworms. Students from Waimea College explored the natural beauty and significance of glowworms while incorporating Māori and Pasifika patterns, symbolism, and design elements into their artworks.
Fusing the ethereal quality of light with the materiality of paint and form, Larisse Hall utilises light, nature’s oldest 'time tool', as both medium and temporal reference within her art practice.
